I should have an easier time if we try this outside of Trench. The less people around, the less careful I need to be, and the less I need to exert myself. I should be able to cast a large net, so to speak, and only catch you.
There are some exercises I can introduce you to that will help with your spatial awareness and ability to judge areas and distances. They'll help with your spear fighting as well.

I like that you saw something capable in me. If all of the awful things I've experienced in my life make me good for something in the world, I want that. I don't mind a little suffering to achieve that.
Do you not want to leave it to others because you don't think they'll be as thorough? Or aren't as capable? Or because you don't want them to suffer, too?
Blood pollution, corruption, beasts. Other people have skills suited to helping with those problems before they cause violence, my skills are well suited to helping once they're already at that point.
